Public transport – The best way to get around Malta is public transportation, namely the bus. Malta’s main bus station is in Valletta, just outside the City Gate. A fast bus service connects the main resorts with Sliema, Marsaxlokk, Mdina, the three towns with sandy beaches that are perfect for your holiday in Malta. In towns and villages, the bus stop is usually found in or near the square.
